Created during a 6 week Residency at Backlit Gallery, Robin Hood Chase was Thompson's first largescale portraiture collection.

Exhibited as part of the group show, In Reality, These Things Need to be Said, the work is a time capsule featuring members of the artists family. Robin Hood Chase reflects on the prevalence of resourceful matriarchs, style as an act of resistance, celebration and the family unit within the Caribbean diaspora.
